50 Things To Do (or not do...) this Weekend or Next Week that Will Make You Feel Great!


  1. Drink a cup of green tea
  2. Take a nap
  3. Go outside
  4. Eat a low-fat breakfast, rich in complex-carbs (whole wheat) and high in protein
  5. Get fresh air
  6. Get sunlight
  7. Breathe deeply
  8. Go to the gym
  9. Eat more fruit
  10. Buy yourself flowers
  11. Talk to a friend on the phone
  12. Walk around the office
  13. Call your parents or grandparents
  14. Reduce the amount of coffee you drink
  15. Drink more water
  16. Go for a walk around your local farmer’s market
  17. Exercise before work to get the blood flowing
  18. Treat yourself to a massage or facial – massages at local massage schools are cheaper!
  19. Call some old friends and meet for lunch
  20. Delete all the emails in your inbox
  21. Clean your desk
  22. Tidy your room and make your bed so it’s clean when you go to sleep
  23. Open up windows and let fresh air in
  24. Make a list of all the things you need to do today
  25. Write a letter to your parents or someone in your family you haven’t seen in a while
  26. Take a day off work
  27. Go shopping for someone other than yourself
  28. Cook a lavish and complicated dinner
  29. Get off the computer and relax your eyes
  30. Go for a run around the city at lunch time
  31. Go to bed early

  33. Take some allotted time to do nothing at all
  34. Turn off the television/computer and do something low tech
  35. Wash your car

  39. Get the daily chores out of the way now instead of worrying about them
  40. Light a candle
  41. Get the kids off to a friend’s house for a sleep-over
  42. Talk about your problems with someone
  43. Plan a holiday vacation you would love to take in the future
  44. Cut out the sugar in your diet (it causes stress- AND is bad for your teeth!)
  45. Watch your thoughts without engaging them
  46. Spend some more time with your dog or animal (they’ll love you for it)
  47. Visit an animal shelter and play with the animals
  48. Throw out stuff around your house your really don’t need or use
  49. Turn on some music and dance around your house
  50. JUST RELAX!
