He told a patient he loved her! Here is what happened-Ellen was on the television when he walked in to do an exam. The hygienist was reminding him of the patient's name, Amanda when he was walking in. He then MEANT to say “I love Ellen,” referring to the TV show, but instead he said “I love Amanda,” the patient’s name! Oops!
